About Us

Chichester Physio

Over the past few Decades, we have had the privilege of working with thousands of patients to help them lead pain-free lives.

Our patients come from all walks of life and all age groups – ranging from babies to people in their hundreds. However, the majority of our patients are typically in their 50s, 60s, or 70s.

See how we help patients in Chichester and Bosham recover, move better, and stay active.

Our Story

Injuries and pain can significantly impact a person’s life, preventing them from socialising with friends, going to work, or even getting a good night’s sleep. Our goal at Chichester Physio is to help patients overcome these challenges and achieve their personal goals, no matter what they may be.

Many patients come to the clinic after trying various treatments – seeing their doctor, being prescribed painkillers, anti-inflammatories, or simply being told to rest, often without any real solution. With the rise of “Doctor Google,” many patients seek online advice, but what’s really needed is a clear understanding of the body’s issues which can only be achieved through visiting a trained physio. This is where the first session at Chichester Physio comes in – identifying the source of the pain. Once the cause is found, an effective treatment plan can be created. Simply treating the pain won’t resolve it if the root cause is not addressed.

At the clinic, a combination of treatments is used, such as electrotherapy, hands-on techniques, ultrasound, acupuncture, and kinesio tape, to provide short-term relief. Once the pain is under control, the focus shifts to rehabilitation, strengthening, stretching and restoring proper movement patterns. A lot of this work can also be continued at home in between treatments, empowering patients to actively participate in their recovery.

Our goal is to get you back home

Patient-centred care is about treating a person receiving healthcare with dignity and respect and involving them in all decisions about their health. This type of care is also called ‘person-centred care’. It is an approach that is linked to a person’s healthcare rights.
Aside from the treatment program, an overlooked aspect of treatment is the environment. Many people do not realize how big a factor this is for those who want to recover.

Mentorship and peer support are pivotal in creating environments that nurture personal and collective growth and success, making each feel connected and valued.
